You can add or change beneficiaries in your My Canada Life at Work account by:
- Going to ‘Your profile’ in the top right
- Selecting ‘Beneficiaries and dependants’
- Choose ‘View’ for benefits dependants or savings dependants
If your benefits include life insurance, you can complete a form to update your beneficiaries. If your form is not there, you’ll need to request one from your plan administrator (usually the human resources person at your workplace.)
You can add or change your savings beneficiaries by:
- Selecting ‘Edit beneficiaries’
- Selecting ‘Get started’
- Entering your beneficiary’s information
The form you need will depend on the coverage you have. You’ll find instructions on how to submit the completed form on the form itself.
