The investment manager research (IMR) team oversees the fund managers of Canada Life’s mutual and segregated funds. They monitor, evaluate, and rate the funds and their managers. This helps to ensure the managers and funds on our platform are relevant and competitive so you can feel confident you are providing the right investment solutions to your clients.
Mackenzie Investments has announced changes to Science and Technology as well as U.S. Dividend strategies. Brenda Nicholls, a portfolio manager for Science and Technology along with Martin Rose, is transitioning off the mandate and will now be overseeing the U.S. Dividend strategy as lead portfolio manager. Nicholls will assume portfolio management responsibilities previously performed by Clayton Bittner.
Clayton Bittner will continue his role as lead portfolio manager of the Canadian Dividend strategy.
Science and Technology will continue to be managed by Martin Rose who is now the lead portfolio manager.
The fund’s benchmark, fees, investment objective and style remain unchanged and no action is required.
