The Investment Manager Research (IMR) team oversees the investment managers of Canada Life’s mutual and segregated funds. They monitor, evaluate and rate the funds and their investment managers. This helps to ensure the investment managers and funds on our platform are relevant and competitive, so you can feel confident you’re providing the right investment solutions to your clients.
On Sept. 7, 2023, Invesco announced that lead Portfolio Manager Michael Hatcher and his team will no longer be managing the All World Equity fund. Andrew Hall, Senior Portfolio Manager, and his U.K.-based team will take over management of this mandate.
Hall’s team currently manages the Invesco Global Equity Fund (UK), which is similar to the fund formerly run by Michael Hatcher and his team. The Invesco Global Equity Fund (UK) is a concentrated, global equity core fund with a focus on absolute returns over the long term. Going forward, the All World Equity fund will mirror the Invesco Global Equity Fund (UK).
The IMR Team will continue to monitor the fund as a result of this announcement, and will meet with Hall and his team shortly to discuss the transition.
The fund’s benchmark, fee, investment objective and style remain unchanged and no action is required.
