The investment manager research (IMR) team oversees the fund managers of Canada Life’s mutual and segregated funds. They monitor, evaluate, and rate the funds and their managers. This helps to ensure the managers and funds on our platform are relevant and competitive so you can feel confident you are providing the right investment solutions to your clients.
Galibier Capital Management has announced that Scott Connell, one of the portfolio managers on the Canada Life Pathways Canadian Concentrated Equity Fund, has resigned. This change is effective immediately.
The remaining portfolio managers, Joe Sirdevan and Lauree Wheatley, will continue to manage the fund.
As per our regular process, the IMR team will review the changes. We’ll provide an update when the review is complete.
The investment strategy of Galibier’s Canadian Concentrated Equity mandate will not change.
