The investment manager research (IMR) team oversees the fund managers of Canada Life’s mutual and segregated funds. They monitor, evaluate, and rate the funds and their managers. This helps to ensure the managers and funds on our platform are relevant and competitive so you can feel confident you are providing the right investment solutions to your clients.
Fiera Capital has made an announcement regarding recent changes to their Canadian equity strategy. One of the lead portfolio managers, Ray Halley, has decided to leave the firm. Halley was involved in managing the core aspect of the mandate.
The strategy will continue to be managed by Nessim Mansoor who is the Head of Canadian Large Cap Equities, alongside Nicholas Smart, Senior Portfolio Manager and Tony Rizzi, Portfolio Manager.
The fund’s benchmark, fee, investment objective and style remain unchanged and no action is required.
