The Investment Manager Research (IMR) team oversees the investment managers of Canada Life’s mutual and segregated funds. They monitor, evaluate and rate the funds and their investment managers. This helps to ensure the investment managers and funds on our platform are relevant and competitive, so you can feel confident you’re providing the right investment solutions to your clients.

Fidelity announced effective March 2024, Jeremy Podger will step down from active portfolio management of the Fidelity Global Equity fund. At that time, Jeremy will transition within Fidelity to be a senior advisor, where he will provide leadership and mentorship to investment personnel. 

Jeremy’s successor hasn’t been named yet. 

The IMR team will continue to meet with the team to understand the implications of this change, and to monitor the transition. 

Fund benchmarks, fees and investment objectives remain unchanged and no action is required.
