Supporting the impacted communities an important priority: Macoun
Halifax, NS, April 27, 2020. . . Canada Life has announced a $25,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross – Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund to support the immediate needs of the families and communities who were impacted by the recent Nova Scotia tragedy.
“We express our deepest condolences to the individuals, families, and communities who were impacted by last week’s senseless tragedy,” said Jeff Macoun, President and Chief Operating Officer, Canada at Canada Life. “We’re proud to make this contribution with our employees in mind – and especially those that live and work in Atlantic Canada. These communities need our support during this very difficult time.”
Through the Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund, The Canadian Red Cross will be working in partnership with the Government of Nova Scotia to provide support to those impacted by the Nova Scotia tragedy with immediate and long-term needs, including resiliency and capacity building.
